Furthermore, trade rules give special consideration to environmental protection. So China would find itself with strong incentives to start limiting emissions.
I really like the idea. It make the argument about China not taking greenhouse gasses seriously mostly irrelevant. They need to trade with the industrialized west and those tariffs would be a huge incentive to sign on to a climate agreement.

As a former director of operations for the CIA, I see Snowden in a very different light. My colleagues and I in the agency spent our careers looking for people like him—on the other side, that is. Not totally convinced. Not sure if Snowden even fits the description “narcissistic, often delusional under-achievers” very well. He seems to be pretty well thought out. And despite being a high school drop out, he seems not to fit the bumbling under-achievers mold.
