We have more people who don’t pay taxes because we have more old people living off savings and the Social Security benefits that they paid into. They aren’t mooching. They are consuming that which they contributed before. This doesn’t go along with the whole Ayn Rand moocher/looter versus job creator meme the right is clinging to but it happens to be reality. Fact are stubborn things.
